Michael is the founder of what is now known as Gergely Law Offices PC. With 40 years of experience, Michael specializes in family/divorce law, criminal law, estates and trusts, and personal injury law.
In 1960, he received his bachelor of philosophy. Two years later, he completed his masters in international politics and economics. In 1965, Michael finished his doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of Detroit.
In 1966, he became assistant prosecuting attorney for Kalamazoo County. There he worked on trial litigation and handling appeals to the Michigan Court of appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.
Michael is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Kalamazoo County Bar Association.
